Can things like pocket bikes and go karts be driven in a neighborhood?

By neighborhood I meen small roads that are part of a residence, stuff like that. Roads with no marks or traffic lights. No highways or anything like that. Just the road in front of my house.|||Legally -no. Not a motor vehicle.|||Not without license plates and minimum safety requirements. Also, you might need some help from your parents (15 years old and down). After all, they do have motors, right?|||There are several things I do not know: First, who owns that road in front of your house and second, what city, county, state or nation are you in. If you were in my state, and the road was owned by any government entity, it would be unlawful to ride any motorized vehicle on that road.|||NO--Not legally.|||If it is a PRIVATE road, the rules are NORMALLY up to whoever owns the road. If the road is owned by the city/state, the rules are EXACTLY the same as any other city street, and the answer is normally no.|||Depends on the local ordinances and the traffic laws in your state.

Typically, a vehicle on the road has to be registered and meet minimum safety requirements.

- Stuart|||No, they cannot since it is against the law.|||Vehicles with motors on public streets have to be licensed and insured.
