ok so i live in the seattle area and is planning to go to the family fun center down in tukwila soon with a couple of friends and family. i was wondering if there was a way to go faster on a go kart than usual. does this way work for a passenger riding as well? if not, then how do i go faster with a passenger riding.|||im not trying to be a bearer of bad news but i dont think it can go faster than what they let you...all go karts have a speed limit so incase you go out of control you wont dangerously hurt yourself and giving you the ability to stop quick enough, (turns or stop at the starting line) just have fun all ppl love go karts just have fun|||Yeah sorry, they usually have restrictors on the engines...if you were hoping to beat your family, maybe you could sneak in a practice day! Practice going right to the opposite side approaching a corner while you break, and then flooring it as you turn hard into the corner...this will give you a faster exit....
Don't know if it would help for hire karts, but my husband races professionally, and he hops up and down in his seat as he's going down the straight to get a bit more of an oomph!
